My favorite memories are of band - the music and the friends. I'm still amazed of how Mr Bates could take a piece of classical music, a bunch of high school kids, 6 weeks of practice and end up with beautiful music. Thinking of Mr Anderson in Math, Mrs Hanson in French - I hope Hopkins HS still has teachers as great as these that I remember most for the next generations!
